Scorpio, this first week of February is also the first week of Mercury’s three-week retrograde in Aquarius, so we’d benefit from easing our way into it and finding ways to mellow ourselves. During Mercury’s retrograde through our sector of roots, we may start to disconnect from technology — whether we want to or not. Some of us may lose our phones, wallets, or have issues with our digital devices. It may feel frustrating at first, but since Aquarius energy has been teaching us the art of detachment lately, it also is happening to us for a reason. Who are you beyond the material items we’ve been conditioned to crave or protect? That’s what Mercury’s retrograde will ask you, in a variety of ways.

This week, we’ll still be buzzing off of the energy of last week’s Full Moon in Leo, and as we continue to make necessary adjustments in our careers (such as deciding to take a break from the day to day routine to evaluate what our current needs are), we may find that we desire more time on our own to re-strategize and map out our next steps. Monday and Tuesday’s Libra Moon encourages us to let others know if we feel the urge to ride solo, in order to avoid confusion or miscommunication during Mercury Retrograde. Clearly state your needs with the confidence that they’ll be met and respected. Then mid-week, the Moon shifts into our sign and we’ll find ourselves deep diving into our own consciousness and doing shadow work. Wednesday – Friday are prime days for journaling your current emotions and getting clear about any blockages or fears you still find permeate your mind. The more you’re able to confront them head on, the easier it’ll feel to navigate your way through them, and allow yourself to reprogram your mind and feel something more hopeful and innovative.

Romantically, with Venus, the Planet of Magnetism and Love, having switched out of Capricorn on the 1st and entered Aquarius for the next few weeks, Scorpios will find that they’re even more drawn to other people’s intellect and their ability to understand them fully. If there’s someone you’ve been wanting to have a long conversation with about all topics under the sun, you may choose to do so this weekend, with the Sun in Aquarius and Moon in Sagittarius. It’ll feel so stimulating that it’ll turn you on mentally and physically, and you just won’t know what to do with yourself. You’ll also find that Venus in Aquarius, in combination with Mars’ transit in Taurus (which activates Scorpio’s partnership sector), is going to lead to us feeling a back and forth between emotional detachment and profound, passionate sensuality and intensity. Some days this week you’ll just want to self-pleasure or do your own thing, and other days you’ll feel hornier than ever and will be thinking of making love, or even just making out, non-stop. Indulge in these contrasting feelings, Scorpio — let yourself feel whatever comes up for you instead of trying to rationalize your emotions. You know what you want, so let yourself have what you want.

This week’s astrological weather is relatively calm, Scorpio, and this allows you yourself to practice calmness in your own life. After a whirlwind of a month, your entrance into February 2021 should be focused on restorative practices that bring you a sense of ease, and if you know that there are certain people, circumstances, or projects that fill you with angst, stress, or discomfort, then you should intentionally take a break from them this week, Scorpio. You can achieve great things this month and this year when you allow yourself to slow down and heal from within, without taking on other people’s expectations, burdens, or responsibilities. You may have previously been used to saving everyone and taking care of everything, but the 2021 version of yourself deserves so much more. Take care of yourself, my love.

Curious to know how your relationships will shift this year as Uranus, the Planet of Revolution, embarks on its third year in our partnership sector? Check out my latest digital planetary love guide: Uranus in Taurus Part III, where I explain why this year’s lesson for Scorpios is learning how to love with detachment. As you let go of the need to have someone or to experience something specifically as you’d like it to be, you’re able to make more room for pleasant surprises and chance encounters with people who undeniably want to be with you, who love you and respect you. Read more in Part 3 of my Uranus in Taurus series. All orders include Part 1 and Part 2 within the report too. Enjoy!
