Scorpio’s Weekly Forecast: March 17 – 24

Scorpio, we’ve made it to the week that gives birth to the astrological new year. On March 19th at 11:06pm EST, the Sun shifts out of Pisces and enters Aries, where it will remain for the next four weeks. We are rapidly approaching the Libra lunar eclipse which will strike next week on the 25th, and the start of Aries Season is encouraging us to boss up and make room for both endings and new beginnings to occur in our life. Scorpio, if you’ve felt like you were in a limbo period during Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces Season, it’s most likely due to you wrapping up old missions from the previous astro year. Now that a new astro year is beginning, you’ll feel your engines starting to rev up. It’s go time.

One thing to note though: Mercury, the Planet of Communication, is currently in Aries for the next two months, and we’re in the pre-shadow period of Mercury Retrograde (the official retrograde begins April 1st). This means that this is definitely an ideal week to deal with any lingering tech related issues, to respond to emails you’ve been meaning to get back to, and to clear up any misunderstandings in key relationships, both at work and in your personal life. Things will only get more murky once Mercury Retrograde starts in April, so it’s best to seek clarity during the start of Aries Season, when the Sun and Mercury are in the first sign of the zodiac. Just make sure you’re being careful of the way you’re communicating your needs and your truth, because some people may feel like you’re too abrasive in your approach.

Romantically, you’re going to be feeling extra special and loved due to Venus’ current transit through Pisces. Venus feels great in Pisces, and Pisces energy harmonizes well with your watery Scorpio nature, allowing you to intuitively trust who to let in, and who to keep out. Don’t be surprised if people from your past start resurfacing or lurking in the shadows — eclipse season will bring them all to light soon and you’ll be able to understand what their intentions are.

This week you may end up receiving declarations of love from admirers near and far, and you may also receive apologies during Venus in Pisces, as Scorpio’s sector of love, fate, and true love is deeply stimulated by this transit, allowing you to be more open to the overflowing influence of romance, while also being aware of moments when you got caught up in illusions. With our planetary ruler Mars also entering Pisces this week (on the 22nd) for a six-week stay, life will feel even more sensual, imaginative, and dream-like during Aries Season and beyond.
