Scorpio, this week you don’t have to keep acting like everything is “normal”, especially if you’ve been instinctively feeling that life’s going through a profound metamorphosis before your eyes. The global revolution occurring right now is one that’s not going anywhere anytime soon… Our planetary ruler, Pluto, is spending its final month in Capricorn before entering Aquarius for a twenty-year stretch. We are going to feel profoundly activated by the Pluto in Aquarius era, and we’re already feeling the influence of it right now. If you’ve felt like your heart is yearning to help people outside of yourself, to speak up for their cause, to awaken people who are still asleep or unaware, and to question your own actions to ensure you’re living in alignment with your values, then welcome to the club. A tremendous amount of beings — Scorpios and non-Scorpios — are aware of this shift. We all have our unique roles in this collective awakening, but this message aims to help you remember that you are not alone in wanting to co-create a world filled with peace, with love, with respect for all beings, and with sustainable abundance.
The Sagittarius New Moon strikes on 12/12 at 6:32pm EST, making this one of the prime times for setting new moon intentions centered on expansion, justice, revolution, self-esteem, and security. You did a lot of shadow work during Scorpio Season, and now the Sag New Moon wants you to step into the light. It’s because you learned to integrate and love your shadows that you’re better able to know what you want to be and who you’re ready to evolve into. And it’s as you consciously decide to trust yourself and put your own needs first that a path for helping others will present itself. Use this new moon to be honest with yourself about important tasks or missions that you’ve procrastinated on. This is the ideal week for completing your most important missions (this is different than filling your life with busywork though, it means really being clear about your priorities) with an optimistic and positive mindset, knowing that the work you’re putting in now will bloom into a vibrant garden later, particularly in just a few weeks once Jupiter, the Planet of Luck, ends its retrograde in Taurus on December 30th.
Mercury Retrograde begins in Capricorn on December 13th, and this may slow down your momentum or give you the illusion that there are delays or roadblocks keeping you from achieving your missions. This may actually be an indicator that you have too much on your plate, and that you’ll end up distracting yourself or getting caught up in too many ideas at once, leading to you either burning yourself out or getting nothing done at all. Streamline what your objectives are and find ways to simplify or delegate them, Scorpio. This is your sign to stop trying to do everything on your own. Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn asks you to work smarter, not harder. Be very honest with yourself about the tasks you do not want to spend any time on in 2024, and find ways to eliminate them entirely, or find others to take care of them for you.
Romantically, Venus’ transit through our sign continues to ask us to self-evaluate and be very clear about what we want from love and friendship. You’ll notice yourself setting fiercer boundaries with people who may be intentionally or unintentionally taking advantage of you. You can see through the illusions now that Neptune is direct in your sector of fate and true love, and you’re ready to magnetize the type of relationships that leave you feeling emotionally safe. This transit could lead to you playing mind games with people as a way to remain in control though, so if you find yourself taking longer than needed to text someone back or reach out to them, ask yourself if you’re trying to manipulate their emotions, and why. The ideal lover or friend won’t put you through those moments of angst, so why would you do the same to them? Radical self-honesty is the name of the game this new moon week, so take time to set new moon intentions that have to do with making you feel more confident and transparent as a partner and friend.
