We enter the month of May fresh off the heels of the start of eclipse season, and this means that for many Scorpios, life will be picking up speed this month — particularly during the eclipse portal during the first two weeks of May. The Taurus New Moon Solar Eclipse that occurred on the 30th of April has shaken up our relationships as we know it. It’s going to take some time for us to adjust to the new realizations we’ve made about our friendships, romantic partnerships, and creative collaborations, but with each step we take, we feel more confident about our ability to attract serendipitous connections, and most importantly, our ability to show up as the ideal partner, lover, and creative collaborator that we’d like to be.
On the 16th, we’ll experience a monumental Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in our sign, and the level of transformation that we’ll feel in our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls cannot even be summed up in words. Scorpio, while eclipses can amp up our angst, they also remind us that we are eternally transforming, and that there’s no need to fear the natural process of change and transmutation that occurs in life. Many aspects of you may feel like they’re spiritually dying, and we may also reflect on the concept of physical death during the month of May.
We’re getting even more comfortable with the depths than usual, and that’s due to our planetary ruler, Pluto, having recently begun its retrograde in the sign of Capricorn, on April 29th. The combination of Pluto Retrograde, plus eclipse season, will lead to us being more attuned to our subconscious needs. We won’t be as focused on externally proving ourselves to others in order to gain their acceptance, approval, or validation. Instead, we’ll be deeply committed to cultivating values that are aligned with the heart-centered life we desire.
