Scorpio, after a spiritually intense eclipse month of May, the month of June brings us the start of two planetary retrogrades, and this helps us evaluate what our objectives are for the rest of 2023 by reflecting on where we invested our energy during the first five months of the year. The month of June begins with a momentous conjunction between Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, and the North Node, astrological symbols of our karmic destiny, in the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus. Since Taurus is Scorpio’s opposite sign of the zodiac and activates our relationship sector, something significant is likely to happen on our around June 1st when it comes to relationships. Whatever happens is likely to have a significant impact on the rest of 2023 — this could mean reuniting with someone you thought was a long-lost lover, or, alternatively, cutting the cord with someone you thought you’d never get enough of.
The North Node will only be in Taurus until mid-July (which means the South Node, symbol of our karmic past, is currently in our sign until mid-July too), and these next six weeks could prove to be quite transformative for us on an internal and societal level. The Sagittarius full moon on June 3rd activates Scorpio’s money sector, adding fuel to these cosmic winds of change and transformation that we feel as soon as the month begins. And on the 5th, Venus, the Planet of Love, enters Leo for an extended stay — it’ll remain there until October 8th, highlighting Scorpio’s sector of reputation and career.
The fact that all of these major planetary transits are occurring within the first week of June should serve as a preview of how potent of a month we’re in. It may no longer be eclipse season, but we’re definitely in retrograde season right now, which means we may feel a bit of déja-vu — certain themes and circumstances from this time last year are popping back up in your life again, to see if you’ve learned the lesson.
