This first full week of June will be relatively calmer than the first five months of 2026 has been, largely due to Mercury, the Planet of Communication, entering Cancer as the month begins. Mercury will stay in Cancer for a longer time than usual (due to Mercury Retrograde beginning on June 29th), so between now and August 9th you can expect to feel more intuitive downloads about what your long-term vision is. So much is changing within and around you, and Mercury in Cancer wants you to slow down mentally after the whirlwind of Mercury in Gemini, and take time to appreciate your blessings and smell the roses. While a part of you may be tempted to focus on what you’re supposed to be doing next, the true magic of Mercury in Cancer is to feel expansive with what’s already happening in your life now. Spend time this week creating a gratitude list (or leave yourself a voice note or video diary) that you can return to regularly, as a way of honoring where you came from, where you are, and where you’re going.
From Tuesday through Thursday, the Moon is in Capricorn, and this helps us feel more grounded and anchored in our intentions and ambitions after the wildness of the Sagittarius Blue Moon that occurred at the end of May. Since that Blue Moon took place in Scorpio’s abundance sector, the Capricorn Moon is now in our communication and creativity sector, encouraging us to come up with a practical and actionable game plan for how we’d like to manage, save, multiply, invest, and manifest our wealth throughout the rest of 2026. The key is to focus on what will bring you both emotional and financial security, so instead of feeling like you need to start yet another side hustle, perhaps you’d benefit from investing more in the one passion or project that you know will give you the highest return, and maintaining your focus on that for a consistent period of time, without distraction.
This may be easier said than done because we are still in Gemini Season, which means chances are high that more than one thing, person, or place will be fighting for your attention this week, particularly this weekend when the Moon spends time in Aquarius and Pisces. So do your best to channel your periods of concentration and discipline for mid-week under the Capricorn Moon, and give yourself permission to just chill out under the Aquarius void Moon from 2:50pm est on Friday the 5th to 8:42pm est on Saturday the 6th.
