Scorpio Season begins this week! Ayyyeee. Our annual season of cosmic regeneration. We also have a Scorpio New Moon this Sunday 10/27, which boosts our lives for the better and kickstarts a six-month chapter of renewal, rebirth, transformation, magic, abundance and love in our lives. But the days before a New Moon can often feel emotionally heavy, as emotions we previously denied start coming to the surface of our lives. This may have especially been the case this past weekend, when the Moon was in Cancer. But on Monday afternoon, it shifts into Leo, helping balance out our emotions and reminding us that we are the ultimate warriors.
We’ll feel the Leo energy til Wednesday, making it a great time to focus on our professional objectives and take things to the next level. Mercury Retrograde begins next week, which means it’s time to buckle down and complete endeavors you’ve been meaning to do all month. Once the Moon shifts into Virgo on Wednesday, you’ll be able to prioritize what your most important tasks are, and this will help you sort through distractions and fluff and get to the core of what will help you progress. It’s important to view discipline as something fun, adventurous and exciting rather than something boring or draining. That simple mentality shift changes the game.
The Sun shifts into sultry Scorpio on Wednesday, 10/23, beginning its four-week cycle of traveling through our zodiac sign. We were already feeling pretty magnetic, entrancing, passionate, obsessive and intense due to Mercury and Venus already hanging out in our sign for the past few weeks. But now that the Sun will join these two power players, all eyes, ears and hands will be on us. It may get overwhelming sometimes, but it will also feel endearing and so well-deserved. Scorpio Season is not the time to shy away from the spotlight, Scorpios! It’s the time to bask in it and to really show the world your magnificence and glory.
It may not be until this Sunday that you really realize just how badass you are. From Wednesday – Saturday, we’ll be in the dark of the moon period, and you may feel more sensitive and moody at times. Spend these days clearing physical and digital clutter from your life, so that you can feel lighter on a literal and psychological level. Romantically, keep it real with people you’re talking to. Make sure you’re putting your own needs first and being clear about your standards. But don’t become so fixed on your expectations that you fail to see how much people are trying their best to meet them, in their own unique way. Replace criticism with curiosity and see what happens. Once the Scorpio New Moon strikes on Sunday, set specific intentions about the type of lover, human, friend, coworker, and spiritual being you’re committed to being. Then go out and celebrate your growth and powers of manifestation! Deep down, you already are who you seek to be. Tune into that frequency. Have a great start to Scorpio Season!
