Welcome to the first week of Virgo Season, Scorpios! For the past few weeks, we’ve been going through life with no planets in earth signs, and this was making it hard for us to feel grounded and secure in our emotions. So the Sun’s entrance into Virgo, followed by Mercury’s entrance on August 25th, is welcomed energy, as the earthy vibes are stabilizing to our watery souls. On Monday, the Moon is void in Capricorn all day long, until 5am est on Tuesday, so it’s best to use the start of the week to rest, restore, and recharge, particularly because we are experiencing the Pisces lunar eclipse on the 28th, and the vibes leading up to it are super-charged with sensitivity and emotion, so nurturing ourselves and tending to our needs is essential.
Tuesday through Thursday, the Aquarius Moon helps us learn the art of healthy emotional detachment after a week of trying to control our relationships and environment. This eclipse seasons is here to remind us that the only constant in life is change, and even though Scorpios tend to prefer change that is self-imposed, this chapter of our lives is about accepting that it’s as we loosen our grip on certain situations or timelines that it all falls into place. Instead of trying to force a certain outcome in your domestic, romantic, or professional situation, use the Aquarius Moon to pour yourself into therapeutic projects such as journaling, cleaning your home, or deleting photos or contacts from your phone that tie you to a timeline you’ve outgrown. You’ll feel infinitely lighter and you’ll be making space for the new beginning that’s around the corner.
And then, at 12:18am est on Friday the 28th, the Pisces lunar eclipse strikes and may make Scorpios feel like we’re going through a catharsis of sorts. We may have to experience a breakdown of what’s not working in our creative or romantic lives in order to eventually get to the breakthrough… and for many of us, we’ve already been experiencing this ever since the start of this month. So while Friday itself may feel emotionally overwhelming as we’re forced to remove the rose-colored glasses and look at our relationship patterns head-on (including our own patterns of self-sabotage when it comes to letting ourselves and our talents shine and consistently pursuing our inner child’s dreams), the planetary square that occurs between the eclipse and Uranus in Gemini in our merging sector will help us evaluate which connections in our lives are healthy and sustainable, be they romantic, familial, financial, or professional, and which ones cannot go with us in the next chapter of our lives.
And then comes the relief. By Sunday the 30th, the energy of this potent lunation, the final Pisces eclipse of the past 2 years, will start to wane, and we’ll find ourselves walking on solid ground again. Yes, we may have experienced sobering realizations that our past selves might’ve preferred to ignore or deny, but this was in service to our future selves, who demanded we face the truth and move accordingly. And for some Scorpios, the truth may actually be a positive awakening regarding the depth of the love we have to give and receive — but the caveat is that it’s our responsibility to make sure that love is given to the right person and for the right reasons. For many of us, we’re letting go of toxic or codependent dynamics and leaning into interdependent, reciprocal, mutually beneficial romantic and creative connections, and that’s what will make us feel safe to open our hearts consistently and trust in the best case scenario. I love this for us!
