Welcome to the first full week of April, Scorpios! For those of us born in October, April represents our half-bday season, which means we’re roughly six months away from our solar return. This is a profound time to evaluate the growth you’ve experienced since your last birthday, and where you want to be by the time your next birthday comes along. It’s a good time to check in with the intentions you set during the Solar Eclipse New Moon in Scorpio on October 25, because we’re starting to feel the pre-shadow effects of next month’s Total Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio occurring on May 5th. This week marks one month before the eclipse strikes, and oftentimes lunar eclipses can be felt one month ahead of time. So if you’re feeling like you want to completely start over in every aspect of your life, and that even your music taste, food taste, and fashion style is changing, this is normal, Scorpio. You’re having a Phoenix moment again, where you turn yourself into ash, and then rise from it, to be reborn again.

Mercury, the Planet of Communication, spends its first full week in Taurus starting the 3rd, and since our partnership sector will be activated, you’ll be reflecting on your romantic relationships and your friendships. You’re feeling a sense of decisiveness when it comes to what you can and cannot tolerate in your intimate connections, and since this is also a full moon week, with the Libra full moon occurring on the 6th, you’re likely to make your needs clear to your loved ones. You’d benefit from not letting yourself get too fixed in your opinions or modes of expression though, Scorpio, because the Libra Full Moon calls for harmony and equilibrium. Yes, you can dish it out, but can you take what’s being dished to you? Clarity can come if you and the parties involved listen to each other to truly hear each other out, and not simply to be the one who has the last word or proves a point.

If you feel extra tired and moody this week, it’s the combination of the Full Moon in Libra in our sector of spirituality, and also Mars, one of our planetary ruler, currently being in Cancer. We’ll be in the mood to snuggle, sleep, daydream, create, meditate, make good food, make love, listen to playlists, play in nature, draw, dance… Anything but do super mundane work. Listen to this part of yourself that craves simplicity, quiet, and a less hectic reality. This part of you deeply needs to be tended to, and must be prioritized, especially before eclipse season begins. This is a powerful week for making important changes to your daily and weekly routine, so that you feel energized and at ease with the work you do and the responsibilities you take on, rather than burnt out or resentful. Pluto in Aquarius is here (for the next twenty years) to help move us out of our comfort zone, breath by breath. Don’t be scared. Be prepared.
