Scorpio, we’ve made it to one of the most highly anticipated weeks of the year. Saturn, the Planet of Challenge, and Uranus, the Planet of Revolution, face-off with each other on Friday, December 24th, and we’ll already feel the effects of this major astrological transit as soon as the week begins (in fact, we’ve been feeling it all year long, because Uranus and Saturn have previously faced off with each other in February and June 2021). In many ways, this final Saturn-Uranus square of the year feels like a bubble finally popping and revealing truths that previously weren’t as easily perceived. While we can’t control what is revealed to us this week, we can control how we choose to react to it… Remember that is the life hack to flowing through this chapter of our lives, relatively unscathed.
With the Moon starting off in Cancer on Monday, and then transitioning into Leo for the middle portion of the week, many Scorpios will start off the week thinking of ways to invite more adventure, and sentimentality, into their lives. Venus is now retrograde in Capricorn, which means that we may be focused on more practical and serious matters lately. But the Cancer Moon reminds us to pay attention to our feelings, and if we’ve been spending too much time analyzing them (especially with the lingering energy of the Gemini full moon), then the transition into the Leo Moon will encourage us to move our bodies, say yes to outings and dates with ourselves and others, and be more playful, even if aspects of the end of this year are filled with tension and uncertainty. The more you let out your inner child this week, the less anxious you’ll feel, and the more joyful you’ll be.
The caveat to this, however, is for Scorpios who may not have yet cultivated a healthy relationship with their inner child, or for those of us who are still in the process of remembering what our inner child’s true needs are. Scorpio is the strongest sign of the zodiac because we’ve endured more than most people could even imagine, and we do so without complaining or making victims out of ourselves. But this week, when the Moon shifts into Virgo on Friday, you may start to have flashbacks to some of the challenges you faced when you were younger, or as a teen or young adult, and that you’re still finding ways to heal from. Since Chiron, the asteroid that has to do with healing our inner wounds, has recently shifted direct in Aries, and is activating our sector of healing and wellness, we’ll be feeling more raw and vulnerable this week. This is a good thing — our heart chakras are opening as we approach Jupiter’s re-entrance into Pisces on December 28th. Let yourself feel the wounds that you once suppressed, so that you can also experience the healing that you’re now welcoming.
This weekend, the Saturn-Uranus square may lead to the holiday spirit feeling more dramatic, unpredictable, and unstable than usual. Do your best to protect your peace, your privacy, your energy, and your resources this week, Scorpio. Do not feel the need to stay around family members or people who make you feel bad about yourself, or who judge every aspect of your existence. You don’t even have to explain yourself either. Just make sure that you’re not snapping back at people’s comments or being too focused on proving a point to others. Instead, shift your focus on what you want to prove to yourself before the year ends, and this Saturn-Uranus square will propel you to superhero levels as you accomplish tasks from your end-of-year to-do list, and manifest wealth and divine connections in unexpected ways. You are wealth itself.
