Scorpios, as we enter September, you probably feel like a new version of yourself. And yes, I know, we’re constantly feeling like new versions of ourselves because we’re the sign of transformation, represented by the Phoenix and ruled by Pluto, the planet of transformation. Reinvention is basically part of our DNA. But the fact that we made it through two major eclipses in August really takes this rebirth to a new level. So I want you to view September as a month of self-discovery. We’re discovering who this new version of ourselves is, what they want, what they no longer have tolerance for, what they’re willing to commit to, and what they’re ready to leave behind. And most importantly, we’re being asked to be patient with ourselves in the process.
The Leo Solar Eclipse in August pushed us to level up professionally and become more courageous about being seen, while the Pisces Lunar Eclipse at the end of the month was much more emotional and potentially destabilizing because it activated our sector of true love, dating, creativity, pleasure, fate, and the inner child. It illuminated some of the ways we may fall for illusions, overgive, romanticize someone’s potential, rush into emotional situations, or become so invested in creating the outcome we want that we lose sight of what’s actually unfolding in front of us. Coming out of those eclipses, we’re wiser, but we may also still be a little raw. September doesn’t expect us to immediately have all the answers about who we’ve become. We’re getting to know ourselves again.
What will really help us with that is Venus entering Scorpio on September 10th, because this isn’t going to be a regular, quick Venus transit through our sign. Due to the upcoming Venus retrograde, Venus will be moving back and forth between Libra and Scorpio all the way through January 7th, 2027. So we’re entering an entire era of deep self-discovery and reinvention when it comes to our appearance, confidence, desires, relationships, magnetism, finances, and values, and September is really the beginning of that journey.
We may start asking ourselves questions that seem simple but reveal how much we’ve changed. Do I even like this anymore? Do I still want this relationship? Do I want to dress this way? Do I want to keep spending my money on this? Is this friendship reciprocal? Am I attracted to this person, or was I attracted to the idea of them? Does this goal still excite me? We don’t need to rush ourselves into answers. Venus’ extended journey between Libra and Scorpio gives us several months to explore them.
September is also going to involve a lot of assessment regarding the commitments and mergers we’ve made—financially, sexually, emotionally, spiritually, and professionally—because Uranus begins its five-month retrograde in Gemini on September 10th as well. So if you suddenly find yourself reevaluating something you previously committed to, wanting to take a different approach to a financial or emotional investment, questioning the terms of a partnership, or wondering whether you still want to be as deeply merged with someone or something as you once did, that’s exactly the type of territory Uranus retrograde is opening up…
