Eclipse season is at its peak this month, and while last month’s Solar Eclipse in Aries felt empowering to us because it was in our fellow Mars-ruled sign of Aries, this month’s lunar eclipse in our sign has the potential to feel overwhelming because of how much it hits close to home. Lunar eclipses are unpredictable, so even as an astrologer I can’t pinpoint exactly how it’ll affect you. But instead of worrying, it’s best to use this month’s eclipse as a way to rejuvenate your soul and make room for the type of energy that feels nourishing to you.
During the entire month of May, the energy of the Scorpio eclipse, combined with the South Node’s presence in Scorpio, is likely to have you in more of a hermit mode. You’re observing everything from a detached distance, and instead of reacting to other people’s drama, demands, or expectations, you’re retreating into your own world and tending to your own needs (and wounds). This is largely due to the fact that Jupiter, the Planet of Luck, is spending its final three weeks in the sign of Aries, a fellow Mars-ruled sign all about putting oneself first. And that’s your mission this month. Be more selfish.
